How to Donate
Log in to the NAV Portal
Open the Hungarian e-SZJA tax portal. You need an eSzemélyi card or Ügyfélkapu+ account.

Submit Your Declaration
Finalize and submit your tax return. The deadline is May 20th each year.
Why Donate?
In Hungary, every taxpayer can designate 1% of their paid income tax to a qualifying non-profit organization. If you don’t designate it, the money goes to the general state budget. Your designation helps us:

Does it cost me anything?
No, absolutely not. The 1% is redirected from your already-paid income tax. Your take-home pay remains the same.
What happens if I don’t designate my 1%?
The full amount goes to the general state budget. You don’t get it back, and it doesn’t reduce your tax.
What’s the deadline?
You must submit your tax return (including the 1% designation) by May 20th each year.
